Why this result is worth reading
Stripe scores 26/100, Grade F on Agent Readiness while scoring 53.3% share of voice on AI citation tracking, with prominence rated top and sentiment positive. Those numbers measure different things, and the gap between them is the point of the report: a company can be widely cited by AI search and still be poorly set up for an autonomous agent to transact with it.
What is in it
| Section | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Agent Readiness | 26 checks across machine identity, API discoverability, structured actions, programmatic access and trust signals, each labeled established, emerging or legacy |
| Trust Signals | Headline score plus the supporting credibility checks behind it |
| Issues & fixes | Every failing check with copy-paste implementation code |
| Indexing & crawl control | robots.txt per bot, noindex, canonicals, llms.txt, schema depth |
| AI Optimization | Ten content and markup categories, including citable passage length and server-side rendering |
| Citation tracking | Whether Perplexity actually cites the site, with share of voice, competing sources and brand-confusion warnings |
| AI Visibility | Industry prompt sets, with the per-query result for each |
Two things to notice
Every finding describes what the site publishes, never what AI systems reward. Where a check rests on an unratified convention, such as llms.txt, the report labels it emerging rather than presenting it as settled, and weights it down accordingly.
The citable-passage target is labelled as ours rather than attributed to the research it draws on, and the AI Visibility score is withheld entirely when too few queries complete to support one. Both are places the report could have printed a more flattering number and does not.
This report is published as an example of the output. It is a point-in-time scan of a public website and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced on behalf of Stripe.
